Group Facilitator Certification Training

You may start this training after you have graduated from the Advanced T.I.P.S. on-line course and scored a 9+ on your parenting skill assessment. You have until the end of this training and your probationary period to meet the remaining T.I.P.S. post-class requisites for Leaders. You must complete them, though, before you can receive final certification.

Download one of these checklists for the PT-GF Certification training (this area):

Here are the first steps for starting this training program:

  • The training process is outlined on the first page of the video workbook. (download below)
  • Read the GF Manual first. The Table of Contents has the order to print and assemble your binder.
  • You can watch the videos and complete the workbook after that.
  • Then, you must attend any scheduled training calls related to those videos before doing your practice presentation.
  • The GF Trainer will track your attendance at these calls and maintain a checklist, along with the one you receive in the workbook and can track, too.

No matter how many other speaking or curriculum training programs you’ve attended in the past, you’ll be surprised with how much this advances not only your understanding and mastery of the Universal Blueprint®, but your relationships. Your professional- and self-growth is about to go to a whole new level!  Enjoy the training!

Practice Skill Assessment Scoring Grid

* Note: in the video it tells the participants in the live workshop being recorded to refer to the entire skill assessment tool. You will receive that tool with all other GF resources after receiving final certification. For the purposes of doing the video training, all you need is this scoring grid. Excerpts from the skill assessment tool have been incorporated into the video workbook for the practice exercises you will do. This should match up with what the participants in the live training are referring to.

Also, the program evaluation form used for this training has been updated. The training says you need to do hashmark scoring on evaluation questions 3 & 4. Due to the difficulty of that process, we changed/updated the evaluation form so those questions are combined and can be tallied like all the other questions. Get the new form here. (It will also be in the entire skill assessment tool packet in the GF resources area you will get access to after you complete this training.)

Public Speaking Skills

From Michael Port, my mentor and author of Book Yourself Solid (BYS), 90-Day Product Factory and Internet Traffic School. It’s on these teams that I served as a Team Leader for him.

Speaker Marketing

From CoCo Fossland: Using free speeches for marketing. Give great value with the intention of introducing the audience to your offerings. This is a very service-driven, relationship-building approach you can use with ease and integrity. CoCo’s courses are no longer available to the public. I have them all and will share lessons where appropriate in the various RT/PT Leader training programs. Right-click the link to download the audio lesson, handout and template for your presentation outline.

From Michael Port: 7 Simple Strategies To Attract More Clients And Get You Paid Now! A good portion of the Individual GF Marketing training audio (above) is from BYS. Here is a free audio series (no longer available, so exclusive here!) with more information, straight from the source.

You have a choice – Listen online with the streaming audio (left-click the link) or download the MP3’s to your computer (right-click the link and save), burn them to a disc or MP3 player and listen to them on the go! Either way, you’re in for a treat.

Callan Rush:

How To Build a Business Speaking to Parents and Teachers, by Bill Corbett. (Amazon Kindle book: $9.95)

Debbie Allen has lots of training for speakers and experts. Most is what Jody already teaches. She also does branding, including the 2013 RT re-branding (our fourth). Here is one of her freebie resources on marketing that any RT leader can probably use. Some strategies only RT Experts might be able to use. Ask questions and discuss ideas/strateigies on the first-of-the-month Leader webinar.
